Website Design
We create functional, easy to navigate website designs on desktop and mobile browsers that express your message clearly and artfully. Our designs take into consideration your unique branding and story, the user’s experience as they navigate the site and how search engines will discover you. All three are equally important in our eyes. Our process is simple, highly collaborative and delivers the results you are looking for.
Some of our clients love to get their hands dirty and get into the collaboration of picking photos, writing their content and coming up with design ideas. Others have a general vision and otherwise want to step out until a first draft is ready for review. Whether you are looking for a simple website design or complete support from photography to web design to copywriting, we have a package to fit your needs.
Your brand story is paramount to a successful website. We want to get to know your mission and the bigger purpose you wish to serve in the world. We want to get to know your clients through your eyes. We want to help you connect in the best way possible so you can do what you do best!
Our Website Design Process
Strategy meeting: This meeting takes about an hour and helps Designed for Momentum™ understand your business vision and mission, customer profiles, who will be viewing the website, the functionality of the website that is needed and to brainstorm any additional features the website could have to optimize your customer experience.
Signed contract and deposit: This marks the beginning of our project together.
Design draft presented to client: After our intake meeting, Designed for Momentum™ will pull together a design reflecting your brand and vision for the website. Three revisions are included in these designs.
Website design approved by client: Approval of the website design is required to move forward with the development phase.
Hosting, domain and content supplied to Designed For Momentum™: Hosting and domain name purchase are not included in the cost of the website. These need to be provided by you, the client. Content is the only exception to this if we hire a copywriter for the project.
Development of site by Designed For Momentum™: This process usually takes about two to three weeks. We will present the website to you for editing and feedback upon completion.
Client edits: Clients are responsible for reviewing the website and providing any aesthetic or content edits. Three rounds of edits are included in this step.
Final approval and site launch: Final approval marks permission to go live with the website and the end of edits under the design contract.
Maintenance contracts: we will propose available maintenance contracts for moving forward. These are not mandatory with our serivces.
Full tutorial: A full tutorial is given in person or by phone to the client and client team, instructing the use of the website. This tutorial will be recorded for future use.
EXTRA RESOURCES AND DETAILS
Ongoing monthly costs such as e-newsletter services, form builders, scheduling software, hosting and domain name purchase are not included in the cost of the website. These and any ongoing fee related items integrated into the website are your responsibility though we can integrate with the website. Designed For Momentum™ does not provide photography or copywriting services. All content is the responsibility of you or the copywriter you choose. We do provide stock photography within budget, but custom photography is the responsibility of you or the photographer you choose. We can provide referrals to superb copywriters, photographers and integration/automation services as needed.
